Blogging the Udacity Deep Learning Foundation Nano Degree

In January 2017, I enrolled in the Udacity Deep Learning Foundation Nano Degree.

The course started a week late and, to fill the time, students began sharing links in the Slack account which had been created for the course. This seemed like an awkward way to share individual links since the enrollment numbers soon climbed into the thousands and the message traffic on Slack caused interesting material to scroll off the top, into history.

So I started a Google spreadsheet.

By 19 February 2017, it had 113,604 views.

Clearly, there was a need for a shared resource which curated on-line materials related to Deep Learning. The first versions had a single tab and a few simple categories:

  • Course Documents (syllabus, schedule, etc.)
  • Courses (other on-line courses)
  • Books

And a few extra, just for fun:

  • Music
  • Beer
  • Github repos

Go have a look today. You could spend days exploring the possibilities.
